Before I shove the trans back in place I'm looking ahead to the clutch bleeding. I have a 88 5 speed and the bleeder valve is on top of the trans. I'm thinking this is going to cause alot of swearing when I get everything bolted up and try to bleed the clutch.
Is there a way to reroute the bleeder setup? I'm thinking I could extend the fluid line. Its the cotter pin type not the quick disconnect and I have big fingers. This way I could attach the line before raising the trans and connect it at an easier location. I could use tubing to reroute the bleeder valve. If I could, I'd like to move them along the side of the trans for easier access. I'm not sure if gravity, tube length or some other design issue will nix this plan.
Anyone have some thoughts?
