Replacing stock rear shocks...possible problems?

I drive a 12-year old Ford Ranger in NE Ohio where they love putting loads of salt down on the roads. The shocks are all original. I just replaced the front shocks and had the great experience of breaking and replacing the lower shock mounts.

I was wondering if there were any similar difficulties I should expect when replacing the rear shocks?

Thanks in advance.

The rear mounts are different. Try some PB Blaster or whatever but odds are you will end up sawing or torching the bolts off. :icon_welder:
