I have to replace the pull cord on my sled while I put on my clutch kit, and I was wondering when I do the cord what will be involved, will I have to wind it back up? And what is the strongest/best rope or cord I can buy. I wants it to be very strong, some marine rope maybe? Thanks

umm.. id go to your local power sport shop and buy actual recoil cord.. more or less nylon rope.. you can pull your recoil so the rope is out.. take a pair of vise grips and clamp the housing to the internal guts so it can't wind up. then undo your not and cut a new piece to length then re assemble.. is pretty easy to replace them.. it gets hairy when you pull the recoil apart

^What he said.....be careful not to pull the hub out and release the recoil spring.......life as you know it will turn to suck!
