I have a 90 Bronco II 4x4 with a Dana 35 in the front. Firestone wants to charge me over $400 to replace the pads and rotors on the front, since the rotors can't be resurfaced. I went next store to Kragen, and I can get new rotors and pads for $150. How difficult will it be to replace the rotors on the front, and are there any guides to help?

Thanks.

Its easy to replace the rotors. When the brake capliper is taken off the rotor will pull right off. My brakes are Duralast brake pads from autozone which have a LLT warranty meaning I never have to pay for brake pads again.

you should take the spindle apart and clean and repack your bearings and replace the inner seal. you will need the special socket to get the nuts off which your auto parts store should have. if you get your self a haynes of chiltons manual you should have no problem getting it done in a day.

If you have manual hubs you will need the locknut socket. If you have auto hubs you don't need anything special.
