I need to replace the fuel pump relay connector as well as the EEC Power relay connector, they are both severly corroded. I have been able to find a fuel pump relay connector at the parts store, but not the EEC relay connector. The actual relays are different but the connectors are the same. Except I noticed the Brown socket is wired with 12 GA wire and the Green is wired with 14 GA wire. So, if the brown socket with 12 GA is the fuel relay connector I am thinking of getting 2 and wiring it into the EEC relay, I would have to cross match wire colors, since I cannot find a direct replacement, the only other solution might be to find spade connectors. Long story short, has anyone purchased a EEC relay connector? I have checked Autoaone, Oreilly, NAPA, Ford might have one, but it is considered obsolete.

Sorry I'm not 100% sure on what you need, but try checking out rockauto.com.

They just might have what you are looking for...I've gotten a few of my connectors from them, they even have the doghouse for the EEC. Is that you you need?

When I got my 88 ranger, someone had tried to wire in a used set form a junk yard, I ended up just cutting them off and useing spade connectors, and then sprayed them good with liqiud tape, never has given my another problem sence, I also replaced both relays with standard 40 amp relays that where ONLY 10.99 each, then buying the high dollar "44.00" ones from the auto part store.

Found it!

I found it at a Ford Dealer, they have a huge picture chart of dozens of past connectors used, they are pricey, but you are getting what you need.

I buy my electrical at Ko-hen Electrical in Red Deer. Relays start at $6.00. Connectors are also a lot cheaper than Ford or regular autoparts places. You may have a similar electrical jobber in your town.
