Will a rear transfer case output flange off of a 1986 electric transfer case swap onto an '85 manual transfer case with a yoke?

Also (and more importantly) will a later 90-94 driveshaft flange bolt up to this flange if the flange does fit on my t-case?

I may have stumbled apoun a driveshaft for my 8.8 swap, and I have a spare transfer case out of my '86 parts truck stashed away. I know little interchanges between the two, but I don't know if that might be one of the few parts that does.

Yes, but you'll have to grind down a socket to get down that yoke.

I am fine with that, another excuse to play with the lathe.:yahoo:

I just wanted to make sure it would work before I bought a socket turned it down, and took everything apart only to find out that:

A. The driveshaft won't fit the flange.

or

B. the flange won't fit my transfer case and I am stuck with a messed up socket I can't return.

You can find thin walled sockets that will fit... But whats the fun in that when you can play with a lathe :D
