Replacement throttle cable?

My Ranger needs a throttle cable, it's got a catch in it just off idle which is REALLY annoying in low range...

I've looked and asked at auto parts stores without luck, '90 with 2.3L...

Dealer might still have some. I got a new one for an 87 f350 for $50 from dealer

I took one out of a Mustang 2.3 FI and had it modified to fit the Ranger 2.3 carb...they are slightly different but essentially the same cable...

I think it should be a direct swap though from FI to FI versions.
