Replaced TPS and nothin

Pulled code last week and got code 53 TPS above maximum voltage So i replaced it and test it got the same voltage and pulled codes and still no change still there. Is there something else that this could be.

B.T.W I get 3.7 volts between the bottom wire and the middle wire, 4.98 volts bottom to top.

You did clear the codes after you replaced TPS didnt ya?

yep cleared the codes twice just to make sure. I tested the resistance and the old and new are within .100ohm.
