I replaced all my ball joints on my 2000 4x4 Ranger
Now I used Moog type ball joints pt no. K8695T for the lowers.
My issue is with the lower ball joint. With it installed and torqued to spec and the snap ring installed I can still get movement out of the ball joint housing. The snap ring is sitting above the lower control arm and IF I put a pry bar inbetween the knucle and lower control arm I can move the control arm up to meet and or rest against the snap ring. In doing this I also noticed that the ball joint housing itself where it sits on the underside of the control arm is not sitting flush until I move the control arm.
This is not normal right? I'm wondering IF I should go with the Moog K8695T006, which is advertised as the oversized ball joint?
Hope this makes sense.
ANY insight?

I'm not sure of the part number but I used Moog performers, they fit well.

It was improperly installed. No offense.
The "correct fix" is to replace the lower control arm, or as you already know there is an over-sized balljoint.

Next time grease the everloving sh*t out of the hole in the arm, and slowly impact the press, and keep smacking the side of the arm next to the balljoint with a deadblow hammer. And make sure it stays straight.

No offense taken, BUT it was installed correctly... I used the press to remove the old joint and install the new one. I should of realized there was something off with the drivers side when I did it, I installed the passenger side first and it was a chore to get the old one out and the new one in, The drivers side came out very easy and the new one went in very easy as well.
Anyway, I went with the oversize joint, installed it and there was way more resistance when trying to install it, actually the ball joint came with a lube/adhesive to aid in the installation, so far after 2 weeks of use it has not moved at all.
Thanks for the insight anyhow...

So the time before it was pressed crooked...

FYI, a nice hammer and good aim is a lot quicker than pressing them out.
