so i pulled my tranny cause of some shaking which ended up being caused by a bad flywheel. clutch was changed in january and ran fine until about a few weeks ago and then i stopped driving it to change it. so the clutch looked good with even wear and looked fine. so my question is, is it ok to keep this clutch and just change the flywheel or do i have to change it all? thanks for any help

If the clutch is in good shape visually and you weren't having trouble with it, absolutely don't waste the money replacing it. I've had the trans out of my Explorer twice since I bought it in January of 2005, and have yet to replace the clutch.

ok cool just wasnt to sure if it was something you should do or not. thanks
