They are both essentially the same book.

I love the PTS manuals, they make a Chiltons or Haynes look like a kids book.
 
Chilton<Haynes<Ford Shop Manuals.

I love heading upstairs at work and getting all my info from the most legit of sources:D
 
But online PTS goes back to 92. That is when they started digital manuals.

Yeah I have the chilton... It's alright, but alittle veage on some basic procedures... I was just curious on other peoples experences. I've heard good things about hyanes

I should see what the oldest one is the have at work... I think it's the 89 F-150 Service book but there might be another one that's even older. I know for some reason they have these new-looking GM W-Body manuals:D
