RENAISSANCE FESTIVALS ANYONE??

Went to the Az Renaissance Festival on Sat, 2/15-- 30 acres of absolute fun, music, jousting, and arts/crafts!!! And the beer?? To die for on a warm, sunny afternoon! I just couldn't talk the barkeep into just filling my horn!! Was just trying to "go green", save a plastic cup!!!
The artists, vendors, and metal forging craftsman that attend this event, are some of the finest, in the world. There's even incredible "glass blowing" being done!
Purchased a knife, and scabbard, from a vendor, to use with my costume. Folded Damascus steel, myrtle wood handle, with good leaf accents. Saw it, and couldn't pass!


Anyone else attending/have these events in their area???

I've been a couple times back in Michigan. I'm not really into that... but it's a hoot to people watch. I always get a turkey leg and a pickle from the pickle lady.

I went to one about 20 years ago with a few friends. The girls wanted to go... we used it as an excuse to walk around day-drinking. I don’t remember much, other than us carrying my buddy back to the car.

By the dozens!!! Most of them, were in the line leading up to the bar! And in this 30 acre village, there were lots of pubs!!
