I'm trying to remove the head off my 85 Bronco 2. I have two questions:
1: Do I have to remove the intake manifold to get the head off?

2: Do I have to remove the timing gear cover?

A quick response is appreciated as the vehicle's parked in the shop where I work and I need to get it out as soon as possible.

Yes

No

In that order.

Not to sound like a smart arse...

Pick up a Haynes or Chilton manual. It can answer most questions and give you much needed torque information.

I take it this is your first rodeo with a cylinder head? Good luck man!
