I'm in the middle of changing out my water pump, got the belts off for the power steering and A/C by adjusting the tension bolts. I'm having a hard time figuring out the alternator. Is there more than the one obvious bolt to adjust tension? If so, where is it at? I've loosened the one and it won't budge.

loosen the pivot point as well.

You have 3 bolts to loosen, one is a 13 mm that bolts the adjustment bracket to the block. One 14mm on the bracket and a 15mm on the bottom at the 6 o'clock position.

got the water pump in, thanks for your help! the thing that threw me off with the pivot bolt is 'righty tighty lefty loosey' doesn't account for bolts facing you from the opposite direction...derrrr.
