Hello, I am going to be acquiring a set of wheels that are all oxidized, corroded and pitted. What is the best way to get back the finish of the wheels. If I cant get them to look good, I'm going to scuff them up and then powder coat them. Thanks

If the rims are pitted as you say there is no way to get them back the way you would want them. My suggestion would be to have then media blasted and powder coat them as you say. You would probably have less of a headache doing it this way. If you are just going to "scuff" them the powder coat will not work, although paint may stick to the scuffed rim. If paint is the way you are going to go get a good paint that you shoot out of a paint gun. Spray paint would flake off in time. Implement paint works well also. Good luck
