Just a quick question. I need to remove the line that runs out of the slave cylinder. I got a '94 3.0L tranny and I've been trying to yank it out and it just doesn't budge. But I'm also afraid to pry it out with a small screw driver. Is there like a special way or tool to get this damn thing out?

Push the white plastic sleeve on the line towards the slave cylinder while pulling the line out. You may need to hose some brake cleaner or wd40 into there first and blow it out with compressed air to clean any dirt out first.

I just did mine for the first time. Follow the above advice. Clean it really well. They sell a tool for that at the auto parts houses but I used the small screw driver. Push in a bit while you push on the white plastic collar. Be patient, when you get it just right it will release. When released, you clutch pedal will not depress at all. So don't think anything is wrong when that happens.

well the white peice came off....is that going to make things way harder?

The white piece is the disconnect tool, you need it.

hmm okay hopefully its still just laying under the truck. i'll mess around with it in the morning
