Anyone got any tips? I got the nut off, and couldn't get the bolt out from inside the eye of the spring. Thing is solid in there.

Here's the biggest problem, I don't have any torches or impact hammers. I've got a small hammer and an angle grinder. I'm away at college, and unless I can figure something out, I'm going to take it to a shop tomorrow...

Opps, I didn't mean the center bolt, I meant the rear bolt... trying to replace the shackles and mounts as they rusted out.

i've had probs getting those out before also, but i burned out the bushing with a torch - a nasty sinky mess.
without a torch you coud try drilling holes in the bushing

No drill... I'm just gonna take it to a shop I think. Have them do the rest... Hoping it won't be more than $100.

Well, took it to a shop. They took out the bushing and pressed in a new one for $60. They told me they took the leaf spring off, but it doesn't look like they did... W/e. I bolted that shackle and mount up easily. The other side is still barely hanging togethor, so I am going to drive home on it and fix it there where I have the proper tools(torch and drill).
