removing green film from gauge cluster

i bought some red leds from superbrightleds.com i installed them today and they dont shine good at all.. the only part that really shines are the needles .... how do i remove the film from the back of the gauge

i have a 1996 ranger xlt

There is a procedure somewhere.
You need to cal the speed-o before taking it apart so you can get it back together near where it was.
Time is the only thing you really need… but.
Don’t expect the RED to show through bright red, not happening.
the OEM gauges are like a white translucent coloring and turn red to a lighter red.
Black CAt Gauges will sell you a replacment set of gauge faces with red in place of the white, they do a great job.
