I bought my ranger with a body lift on just the bed. I just want to remove the blocks from the bed and set it back on the frame because i dont like the look of the body lines not lining up.

I just need to know if the same bolts will work for bolting it back onto the frame. Also, stock does it come with bushings to prevent squeeks or anythings?

Thanks :icon_thumby:

I dont think theres any bushings on the box atleast there wasnt on mind when i put my body lift on and also as long as the bolts are not too long and theres thread there to tighten them up you can use the same bolts. If not your have to get new bolts no biggy.

i ended up having to get shorter bolts

the beds back down but now im trying to lower the bumper, and i can only get one hole lined up.. do people turn the brackets upside down or something when they raise a bumper to match the bed? im trying to lower the bumper back down so my tailgate will open

He might have used some sort of relocation brackets to raise the bumper... How much higher than stock is it?

Pictures of where its attached would really help.

well when i took the bed lift off, the bed pretty much sat all the way down on the frame but i couldnt open the tailgate.

the brackets were both lined up with 2 bolt bolting the bumper to the frame. after i lowered the bumper i can only get one bolt to line up but it sits at the right height. im leaning towards the bracket being flipped and/or on opposite sides. It wont be hard to figure out when i do it but im just trying to see how everyone else lowers/raises their bumpers according to what their doing.

the brackets do look stock by the way

if the brackets arent angled and curved steel with about 5 holes in it, they are aftermarket.

i have half my buddys old brackets turned into my light tabs on my front bumper.

angled? mine are curved but i dont think their angled
