anyone know something that will take off the adhesive left behind after removing the badges from my ranger (both ranger emblems, the FX4 stickers, and the ford emblem on the tailgate) I had heard WD40, but it won't touch this stuff....:icon_confused:

EDIT:without taking the paint off

Brake cleaner and a plastic razor should work

would brake cleaner take the paint off? and I'd have to be extremely careful with a razor to not scratch the paint aswell... I was hoping there was something that would just dissolve the adhesive and be wiped away, but i guess if its strong enough to dissolve the adhesive, it would dissolve the paint too, wouldn't it

this stuff works like a charm...

my stepbrother works for a (:icon_twisted:) yota dealer and that's what he said they use to get the nasty dealer id tag off the tailgates of dealer trades or the bumper stickers off trade in's

Usually you can also find plastic razor blades at autozone or somewhere like that for pretty cheap. If the goo gone doesn't get it all off, give the plastic razors a shot. They wont scratch paint and I know that tinters like to use them a lot too.

plastic spoon from the kitchen works really well and is cheaper..

Some type if spray adhesive remover either plastic razor blades, fishing line, or your fingernail I've done this with sticker it works well

yeah but you've got to remember that the adhesive used for a sticker and the adhesive used for badges are not the same. the adhesive used on badges is like 50x stronger..

Glue remover from Grainger or use a heat gun to soften the glue then roll it back with your finger but don't get it too hot and burn yourself. Also bug and tar remover works.

Yeah it works awesome, and will not damage the paint at all.
