relay have anything to do with spark

I hav an 88 ford ranger 2.9 with no spark wat so ever. i noticed the fuel pump in the gas tank wasnt working and high pressure fuel pump wont shut off when key is in on position so i went to change the fuel pump harness and relay and now i hav no spark or fuel pumps . i was wondering if no spark had anything to do with the fuel pump relay and why my fuel pumps shut off. (inertia switch isnt the problem)

Not the fuel pump relay, no.

The computer relay however would affect both spark and fuel pump operation as the computer is what controls when the fuel pump relay is on or off.

Next to the fuel pump relay. Green plug is fuel, brown is computer if I remember right.

eec realay is new aswell and still no spark or fuel pump

thanks for your help. you got me focused on the eec relay and a broken power wire on the harness was the problem. so now i have the pumps in great shape but still no spark.
