I don't seem to have much time to do anything anymore.
Given the option I would love to rebuild my engine myself. Show me how to bore/deck the block and turn the crank if need be and let me do it.
Assembly is like Legos, I'd be all over that. I rebuilt my cylinder heads a couple years ago at that was a lot of fun to do.
With little to no free time a crate engine would be a nice easy button. Having a SBF a Blueprint or maybe even Ford Performance/Racing/whatever-they-are-called-this-week crate would be fun if they still make them.
Lots of crappy rebuilders out there, rebore just one or two cylinders and send it out the door.
