- Just because I haven't been exposed to something to learn it yet doesn't make me stupid.
First pic when we brought Rufus home.
Pic from today. Making progress with more to be done. Not bad for a $500 truck!
Got it for a deal because it wouldn't go in gear and they said the transmission was bad. Got it home and found it had no plug and not a drop of transmission fluid in sight lol. Hubby got that straightened out and bled the slave cylinder. Other than some noise from the throwout bearings, it hasn't had a problem since.
Don't laugh, but this is my first manual. Had only driven a stick shift 3 times before in my whole life. I have the hang of it mostly now.
This is my second Ranger. First was a 96 4WD extended cab in Tahiti Blue that had been my Dad's. He passed away and we took over the loan since we needed a truck at the time.
Rufus is pretty rough but I am happy to have a truck of my own. Hubby is letting me do most of the work on it myself which I enjoy. I have already gotten some good ideas from the forum.
