is there ne thing i can install on my 91 ranger to raise the limit of what the redline on the motor is bfor i blow it or does that just happen in high performance engines?

or is it just a combo of things?

A motor's redline changes depending on numerous factors, the main ones being how strong your internals are.

Stock Ranger internals aren't made for high-RPM situations, and will bend/collapse/fubar themselves extremely quickly if run over the factory redline.

Your engine is designed to make maximum torque and horsepower long before it hit's the redline.

Raising the redline will do nothing but make more noise and risk damaging your truck.

ok thanks guys so then what rpm range do u recomend for max torque and wheel spin
