Is anyone using Redline G4 ATF for their manual transmission? I use Redline lubes in my other cars in the differentials and gear cases but have not had any experience with a manual transmission that uses ATF. My recently acquired 93 ranger 4x4 has a newly rebuilt manual. The redline ATF is expensive and usually worth the price when dealing with 75/90 gear oils etc but I'm not sure it would make any difference over the standard brands in the ranger transmission. Thanks for any inputs.

I can't vouch for Redline, but I know the Royal Purple SynchroMax made a diffenece in feel for my manual transmission.

i use redline MTL in my M5, shifts smooth as butter.

I caved in and bought Wal-Mart's Supertech brand ATF, the new fluid definitely made the tranny shift smoother.

Still hasn't corrected my problem with my leak originally caused by installing a hurst shifter in the damn thing.
