Thanks! It's getting the 4L60E that came out of the donor. I may find a reverse manual valve body for it and/or and different gear set. I don't like the jump between 1st and second, too much ratio change.

Shifter is easy. 4 bolts to the floor, a little bit of wiring, and a hole for the cable to run through. I haven't done the transmission side yet, but its just adding a bracket for the cable and changing the lever out. Trickiest part is trimming the black plastic piece.

Got a little gas-saver commuter while this is down so I don't have to keep borrowing the parent's car.

2005 DR-Z400SM. Spent $9 to put over half a tank in it. Rather happy.

Fit pretty nicely actually. Unfortunately have to go with stock exhaust manifolds to fit but such is life. Downhill slide now though.

Haha right. Maybe just engine cage it and go bigger on the shocks!
