Hi everyone, I have replaced 3 slave cylinders in the last 3 years and I am looking for help to get to the root of the issue.

This happens consistently around 1 year (20,000km - 13,000m) of use. I'll be driving, everything is fine, press in the clutch and it sticks to the floor then takes a second or two to come up. That has been the indicator of when it has blown. From that point on it will draw in little amounts of air every shift. Over time it lets more and more air in. I can bleed it which will last 2 months before being undrivable, then 1.5, then 1, .5 etc. The exact spot of the leak is unclear.
I have tried both LUK and the OEM product.

Any help would be amazing, Cheers

The fluid in the master is low and you have to keep topping it off? Or it's just getting air in the system.

I went through something like this in my F-150, I couldn’t find a slave cylinder that would last in it. Ended up changing to a ZF5 in that and bought a slave for the truck the ZF5 was out of (92 F-250) and the slave turned out to have a metal housing instead of a plastic one like what I was getting had. That one survived a few years

Keep looking for the leak. I think that is were the air is getting in. Some problems can be difficult to find that is for sure.
