I am doing a cab swap on my wife's B4000 that I rolled one winter. Her father bought it brand new in 97 and it was his daily driver. He passed away in 06 and it never got much use after that. Her mother gave it to her and I was using it here in MD as my daily driver, until i hit some ice on a back road spun out and the front right wheel went down in the ditch (deep one) and the truck flipped on it's roof. Got it out, righted, pulled the plugs cranked it over, put the plugs back in and fired up. I always promised her I would fix it and make it better since she has a special connection to it.

So last week I bought a 98 ranger cab with the rear opening doors. I think that is a big improvement. Now the work begins.

Cab is sitting in the shop on dollies. So far I have managed to get the carpet out. Luckily for me there is another cab in the local JY with a gray interior for some of the interior parts I'm going to need.

I would like to add power windows/locks if it is an simple as sourcing power doors and plugging them in. I would also like to add cruise if it doesn't require running new wires.

I can't seem to upload pics so that will happen when I get it figured out
