yes this product seems efficient but not present in France.
I found the solution! I went to see a windshield specialist, and he gave me the specific glue that they apply when replacing windshields, it's perfect!

I haven't been to France since 2003. It would be nice to see some pictures. We were in Istres and traveled a good bit of the Mediterranean coast as well as other places, including the French grand canyon.
