Rear View Mirror Wiring?!?!?!

Alrighty, i just replaced my windshield and damn it's nice!!!! but when i went to re-install my rear-view mirror well i couldn't, they put the newer, larger tab on... so i went to my local pick a part and found a beautiful fully powered Explorer one that fits right up!!!

I grab as much wire as i could....

So has anybody wired one of these in before??? if so how??? lol

It has a five pin connector..

Note: The mirror looks like the one above, i don't have the top console,

I'm just wondering if i could wire it to dim... or anything???

I looked a little deeper at that website, lol well it shows everything else expet my model lol...

But i did learn alot, tried searching google and well nothing!!!

So it's a

Gentex GNTX - 156

It has six pins but on 5 are in use with colours as follows

1-red/yellow

2-green/yellow

3-black

4-black/pink

5-white/violet

6-open slot


Hopefully someone has done this, or knows another fourm (thanks again mnmattie)

I know it’s definitely been quite a while but do you ever figure yours out? I’m having trouble getting the autodim and auto headlights to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
