Well after fixing my front hubs and converting to lockouts ( avm). I took the truck out for a drive no offroading just a drive and I heard a noise in the rear end after looking around and cussing on what it could be ie: lug nuts, drive shaft? I crawled under the truck and found that my lower part of the spring had snapped in HALF and was hitting the housing whenever I hit a bump. After more cussing because I just sunk 500 bucks into this think a week ago I put a bungie strap on the broken spring to the axle housing so it couldn't come out any more or do any harm. I came home and found a couple of explorer springs from a junk yard for 22 bucks a leaf. I know I have another vehicle but damn what more could go wrong with this thing.

i did that but instead of pulling the whole spring remove the u boltd and cut the center pin on the spring and stack the explorer leafs around the ranger main leaf
