rear shocks for 3 inch liftn 99-on

who makes good shocks for a 3 inch lift for the rear of my 4by4 99 ranger.

looks like i can only find them for 97 and earlier ranger.

I believe the rear shocks are the same for any year Ranger 1983-2011.

Bilstein makes some excellent shocks. KYB is another that's good too. Looks for shocks that are nitrogen-gas pressurized, they tend to ride better and have better control than ones that are not.

bilstien 5150's...or if u really have the $ offroadwarehouse.com has some fox emulsions that are a direct fit, and i hear they make it ride like a 'lac

thats what I thought too, but why is it specified for up to 97' even the parts section of the forum does so...

I checked out offroad warehouse and maybe i am reading it wrong but all the shocks are 2wd, which in the rear is about two inches lower.

KYB monomaxs would be my next choice, but i like the billsteins because they are made for lifts
