Rear seal leak?

I have a 1995 Ranger 3.0 liter, auto, LB. The engine has about 120,000 on it and I had to replace the rotting oil pan some time ago. At that time we didn't replace the rear seal since it appeared to be fine.

Recently, when I would do an oil change and come up my hill, oil would just pour out behind the engine. Last time I changed the oil on the fifth quart oil just poured out of the rear of the engine and then stopped. Oil stick shows full now and no leaks from the rear when I come up the hill or when I am parked up.

So, I am assuming I have a REAL bad rear seal. However, it seems strange that the oil would just pour out when slightly overfilled and NOT under pressure??

Question: Any other place it could be leaking besides the seal or pan???

If you have a bad PCV the engine will build up pressure and FORCE oil out the rear main seal. GOING up hill would cause more blowby then normal.. So it stands to reason that the pcv system needs attention.
Another thought. When draining the oil, some of it got caught on the frame or another cupped location... going uphill caused the oil to pour out of the cupped location...

hopefully if the pcv is bad it didn't ruin the rear main seal
there hard to get not to leak after changing them
