Rear Leafs

Im trying to eliminate the rear blocks when i lift my truck with the 4'' lift i have, what kind of lift can i get from explorer leaf packs, what kind of mods to fit them in a 95 splash and lastly can i use my ranger leafs to add to explorer leafs to gain the desired height maybe?


Any tips and info are welcome!

if you add explorer (4door) leaf springs its going to stiffen the ride up a bit. and then if you add add-a-leafs (from your ranger spring pack) it will also stiffen the ride up so your going to be driving with a concrete rear end... but its what im doing to so idk...

holy crap. i am trying to replace my shackle mount... and everybolt is hard as hell. my plan is to replace my rusted out shackle mount and at the same time install lift shackles( chevy drop shackles). but good lord its tough without power tools. soon i am going to rob leafs off of a 99 explorer that was totalled and swap/combine them with my ranger leafs. i highly suggest having multiple jacks, tall jack stands, power tools, and maybe soak the parts you have to remove in some sort of lube beforehand. idk. good luck to you. ima drive mine down to the college shop with lifts and powertools for this one..

that's what i'm doing right now. putting on a 4" lift and getting rid of both blocks with explorer leafs + ranger main leaf as add-a-leaf + chevy drop shackles. i should be done with it pretty soon and i'll let you know how it rides.
