I want to upgrade my rear gears but, I cant seem to figure out what gears i have in there now and it doesnt say in the owners manuel. Is it written on the axle or something?

Inside drivers door is a tag that tells you your axle code. Locate that ,then come back to TRS,go to tech section,look up your code and it will tell you what gear you have.Also on the rear cover,one bolt should have a tag on it that tells you what gear it is.Or you could take the cover off and count the turns.By the way you should have posted in the axle forum.

You should have a metal tag on the differential cover held on by one of the bolts.
It will list the axle ratio such as 3.42 3.55 3.73. If it has a traction lock diff it will have an "L" between the 3.42 [3L42] tha tag also has the info on the plant and what date and shift it was built in/on.
