Hey guys,
FIRST POST-------Got a ? on width's, what could i get an 8.8 rear end out of to come closest to 55"-56" width from outside drum to outside drum?
This is going to go in a 78 pinto, set up so far for SOME street but more drag related. Any responses would be appreciated.

Thanks

The rear axle in 1992 and earlier Rangers was 56-1/2" wheel mounting flange to wheel mounting flange. Check the Tech Archive area of this board for a complete list of Ranger with 8.8" axles that width, but 1990 to 1992 Rangers with the 4.0 V6 engine were one source.

Anything narrower than 56-1/2" will be a custom axle.
