Hey guys, I have an 89 bronco II all stock so far. I have an 8.8 out of a 90 mustang with 4.10s. My question is if it matters that the mustang has a centered pumpkin and the bronco is offset. Has anyone done this swap? Will I run into trouble? I know the explorer rear is a better choice but I already have the rear I never used on another project. The rear is also drum but I also have a disc setup for it from a 98 gt mustang will that also work or will I need a different master?

the bronco is more center then the ranger.

i never had any issues with it. if you have a factory skid on an ext cab or a later ranger the b2 axle can cause the d shaft to rub on a ext cab ranger.

should be fine for a b2

Cool. Thanks. I removed my skid plate anyhow(I don't offroad) but I do plan on putting some power through it.
