I didnt know where to put this. So here goes/

Where can I get a nice custom driveshaft? Its a standard cab 4X4 ranger. The original one the universal yokes are out of time. Im considering replacing it.
Thanks

In the smaller cities a welding shop should be able to put something together for you. Make sure they understand that the u-joints need to be in phase. Balancing once welded would be a good idea too. I'm sure there are shops that can do both, perhaps a bigger spring or drive-line shop. In Red Deer, Canada we have Pat's Driveline as well as a couple of other shops listed in the phone book.
Good luck,

Richard

By "out of time", do you mean that the yokes line up at something other than 180 or 0? If so, the shaft is twisted. Have a driveline built.
If not, get the one you have balanced if possible.

Most areas/regions have at least one dedicated driveline shop. Here in Sacramento we have two.

Otherwise a 4WD outfitter or welding shop should be able to take care of you. Also, check Semi-Truck mechanic shops as well. They have drivelines too :icon_thumby:

Check junkyard or eBay for a Ford aluminum driveshaft. It was a factory replacement part for the driveline thunk TSB. I had one put on both of my Rangers on warranty.
