Hey all, I recently staring replacing my bearings in my drivetrain, one of them being my center support bearing. However, the slip yoke is absolutely froze on there, and I have tried everything known to mankind to get it off, including flywheel and gear pullers. Im out of ideas, and I was thinking of just buying that section of driveshaft, but nobody has one. Can any of you give me some advice or point me in the right direction here? Thanks.

Here's a video. Yours is like this one? Around 3:40 he just pulled it apart by hand. If yours is that stuck, I would expect to have to buy more parts if you ever do get it apart.

Be sure to mark the two halves to line them back up again. Otherwise, you'll be chasing a vibration.

I have a better idea, it’s what I did to my 92. The bearing was going, it was an extended cab auto 4x4, so I got my hands on a single piece shaft from a 99 extended cab auto 4x4 Ranger and swapped it in. You have to pull the bracket the bearing mounts to and if it’s lifted you might have to pull the crossmember, but the shaft bolted right up.

thank you for the input! before I saw your responses, I tried the good ole "if all else fails, beat the hell out of it" and finally got it off. Turns out, the shaft wasnt long enough, and the yoke was smashed up onto it too far, right where the splines start to taper up. but its off, now Im just waiting on my carrier bearing to come in. At some point, I might do what lil_Blue_Ford said to do, and swap my axle out for a single piece.

I don't believe I've ever sent ya'll a picture of my project:
