Rear diff. cover and oil?

Get a Solid cover, cheaper and very durable. I run them on my Jeeps.

He seems happy with his Spicer cover.

I like that the spicer has a drainplug.

Yeah I bought it for the drain plug. Well two reasons actually. The drain plug, the fact that it's heavy duty and allegedly is easier to get a good seal which I would tend to believe after seeing how warped my stock cover is after removing it.

That Solid cover looks nice though and for the price would make a good upgrade over the OEM cover especially for those that do some off roading

I have no real allegiance to a particular diff cover. My green Ranger got a Precision Launch or Perfect Launch or something like that. Aluminum cover with a main cap brace. Planning ahead because eventually I intend to do a 331 stroker in it, possibly with a blower.

My F-150 has had a Solid cover for quite a few years now. No real complaints there other than one of the bolts it came with inexplicably sheared.

Not sure what the Choptop will get, but that may be the next one. I don’t think the dump truck needs a cover.

But how will you keep the oil in? LOL
Ha ha. I’m saying last I checked, that cover wasn’t rotted out like some of the others I’ve replaced
