rear bumper

I built one, its not pretty but I'll post a picture when I get to the house. I used 6" channel steel (being that it was the height of my license plate) and I modified my Reece universal fit receiver hitch to give me a higher departure angle. I then (and this is where I went wrong) rigged up a way to use the spare tire carrier off a '94 s-10 Blazer (my first car) off the bumper. After doing this I realized there are other ways to build a spare tire carrier that don't involve drilling holes in my tailgate... :annoyed:

Anyway, I'll get some pictures up when I get home. I built it on my '97, so measurements would be different. Maybe it'll give you some ideas.

I'm going to rebuild the spare tire carrier off it, finish painting and come other details.

Sorry, I can't figure out why I can't upload more than one picture at a time...

Hope this helps.
