Rear Brake Drums

Had to redo the brake drums and I can't get the adjusting lever (think that's what it's called) to sit tight to the star adjuster. It's how I found it so I'm assuming that it's what needs to be done but I can't figure out why it won't do it.

you are missing the guide cable

Yeah, there should be a cable hooked to the front opening on the adjuster pawl that holds it up, and pulls it up to actuate the adjuster.
