is there a place that i can buy a 3" block or possibly a 4" to lift the rear suspension a little bit? or can anyone point me in the right direction? I cranked the t-bars today and got 2 1/4 in. lift. but now the back sits alot lower. Or has anyone ever fabbed their own? i can weld and even have access to a plasma cutter.

you can go to a local autozone. i know the local one were im at (Lawton,Ok) sells the 3inch lift block kit ( includes blocks and longer u bolts ) should be close to maybe $30... just scim around sites. summitracing or autozone. autozone blocks works good

If you have to go with blocks, go for a three inch. Lift blocks on the axle enhance axle wrap. Bigger blocks equate to more wrap issues, so go with the smallest block that fits your lifting needs. Also, make sure you get an alignment after you cranked the T-bars.

i fabbed my own 2" blocks, but if u cann find them on stres for a good price, tyen why bothering on welding lol

I would just get a set of belltech shackles and skip the bigger blocks all together.

cha man, go for belltechs. just keep away from blocks. people get outta control with them dude had like 8 in of blocks for 39s retarded

well i agree on that. for block honestly i would go higher then 3inch blocks. 8 inch blocks?!?!?! thats is stupid and a dumba** move right there.

Shackles are better but i use a 3inch block for me. plus i have 2wd. im not goin to monster truck it lol

so are there blocks on the truck already? and yes i'll get the alignment, i'll have a lifetime alignment deal with NTB. i was just hoping for an extra 1.5" or 2" on the back now to level it back out. so instead of doing the suspension lift, where its almost $1000 for the lift, $400 for new wheels to fit it, and then $500 more for tires for the new wheels; i'll just do this and get some nice performance shocks and nice a/t tires.

u have the same susp setup as the 4x4 rangers, and they have a 2" block on the rear.
a 3" block shall do to level it out. or go with the shackles

well i looked up the belltech 6400 shackles, and it said "drop" shackles? and what exactly do the shackles do? and where do they go?

the shackles are the part that helds the leaf packs at the end of the frame.
they act like hinges moving up and down depending on the trucks movement on terrain.
a larger shackle will allow the axle to move down or "open" farther before losing contact to the surface on the tire, improving flexibilty.
since they are larger it will improve the rear height of the truck.
u can find info about them at the tech library.

j/k found the 6400's for $42 free shipping and i get paid on monday! then i,ll take it for the alignment once i get them and put em on, woot im psyched!
