Hey guys i recently just jacked up the rear end of my truck (1998 ford ranger 4x4) and i noticed that i can move my tires in and out... not side by side like u would for a wheel bearing but i can pushing it in towards the diff and pull it out a bit... both side are likes this... what could be the cause or is there any adjusments... please let me know as sooon as possible thank you guys

100% normal on any c-clip retained axle.

Up to a certain point anyway.

If it's over 1/8" of play, you'll want to replace the clutches in your limited slip diff, they are probably worn.
