i have a 94 ford ranger that has the 8.8 trac loc. i had a noise in the rear end so i took off the cover and the spiders were bad. bought BRAND NEW ones and put it together and when i go around any corner it sounds as fit its jumping gears or makes a grinding sound.

did you check the rest of it out? bearings are probably toast or you didnt re shim the clutch packs right possibly. all the old spider trash has been run through your bearings, and possibyl an old piece has run through them again

Did you put friction modifier in when you refilled it?

what do you mean by re shiming the clutch packs?my bearings are good and my ring gear and pinon gear are both good

I'll take the whole axle!

I just need a price and some time.
