ready for winter, Fluid filmed today

I just fluid filmed my body panels the other day for the first time. I didnt get really in depth and do the frame. For some strange reason my truck has been miraculously staying mostly rust free over the past 9 years in the brine and salt. Ford must have bought a really good batch of paint in 09.

My '02 F-150 was doing really good until a few years ago. Now I swear it is worse every time I look at it.

Frame is still great though.

I hope we actually get some snow this year. Past few winters have been lacking.

I just bought a locker and a new set of chains... Bring it on!

I've always joked that I was gonna bring an old plow truck down to my sisters house in Georgia and leave it there. It may take a decade but one dusting of snow and I could fly down there, and make a fortune plowing driveways for confused hill billies.

It's not even worth the effort to plow around here anymore, way too much competition and no one really cares if streets or parking lots are plowed anyway.

Snow here varies. Some years it just seems like it will never stop and others, only a heavy snow a few times and just plain cold.

We have a saying in PA. “You don’t like the weather, just wait 5 minutes.” It’s moodier than bipolar on her time of the month.

rock chips in the paint, they allow rust to get a foothold anywhere. once the paint is chipped the salt gets in. there are gravel roads near here. you can tell who drives on them because their 3-5 year old vehicle is rusted.

I would put up with snow like that in October if I could live near a place to hunt those Giant Whitetails you guys have.

Yeah. The full grown deer down here are what my cousin in Arkansas call "dogs". "Cause of how little they are. lol.

Yep. Greyhounds with sticks on their head. We have some nice ones running around here.

And so it begins:

We had a snow shower a few weeks ago, had troubles sticking in the grass and it was a Sunday so who really cares.

I had more snow on my hood after I got to work than when I left the house, it is still coming down pretty good.

And our whitetails are big enough for me. :dntknw:

Snow on the ground here in Illinois this morning too... and still coming down.

There are some bruiser deer all over our area... Iowa, Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, etc...

I still don't think they compare to the land of Giants in Northern Canada.
