I just re-geared my Ranger and have a couple of questions.
Im driving home after the regear and my speedometer is reading 65mph at 23-2400rpm same as when i had the stock 3.73's and 29.5" tires. i know i wasnt actually hitting 65 because it didnt feel right and most of the other vehicles were flying by me.
27.5 inch tires stock to 29.5 inch tires what would be the difference in speedometer reading? Swapped the 3.73's to 4.56's still have the 29.5" tires whats the difference now? Is there a formula to figure this out?
thanks
i just found the tire change and gear change calculator. the gear calculator does not seem to be working on my computer. is it possible to use these together to determine my actual speed? or find the actual formula these calculators use?
