So I want to re gear to 4.56 in the front and rear. Will the 4.56 pack fit Into the stock axel housing for the new one. I have a 3.37 10 bolt axel 4.0 sport 4x4 2010. And I didn't know if the 4.56 pack would fit into the front diff either. Any one ever try this with a 2010 or similar

FYI Ford axles.dont go by bolt count, they go by ring gear size. Your 2010 4.0L is going to have an 8.8" ring gear.

Yes, 4.56 should fit both front and rear axles. I've never done it, but several have in both front and rear axles, and all Ranger 8.8" axles are essentially the same. Variations in axle lengths, brakes, etc, but largely the same.

That’s for the rear. Your front axle should be a Dana 35 IFS axle. But, yes, you should be able to find 4.56 gears for both.

Correct, I should have clarified that. I was only referring to the rear axle since the OP called it a 10 bolt.
