Pretty sure there was an explorer package available on some of the first gen Rangers. May be something about it in the rare RBV section or the Tech Library.

I'd bet he has a v8, if not the hood is pointless. I would have went with cowl induction hood.

I like the DC2's but I think I'll go with 16's.

The paint is a little too wild for me too.

i don't really know what to think.. wonder what the specs on it are.. still on a 7.5??? or is it really built..

i'd rock it, have to adjust it some for my own style but...

I would be more worried about the pink hub than whether or not it has a 7.5 (which really isn't that bad)
