I have an 89 BII it started smoking really bad ( I would say the smoke was white), and knocked off I tried to get it running to get it home but after it started and sputtered and knocked off It locked up. I was afraid I had a blown head gasket, so I pulled it home and started to investigate. the first vaccume line I took off raw gas came out of, it was the line that goes to the cruise control moduel, weird I thought so I took the vaccume line off the fuel pressure regulator but nothing came out there. I next started to take the plugs out and the 2nd plug I removed was #6 cylinder and it was completely full of raw gas. What the heck? I'm not sure what I need to look for as the cause and what other damage could be done both from me trying to turn it over with it locked and raw gas in the vaccume lines? help me plz.

Just becuase your not getting fuel out of the vacuum line of the FPR...doesn't necessarly mean it is still working correctly....or mean that your engine is firing correctly.

You are right that fuel in those locations is not right and in those quanities.

1st do a compression check & check all your vacuum lines. new ones to the CC & possibly a new/good used CC control....but for now just plug the line & see if it runs better.

how was the brakes working?
